/ The brief
Our client builds furniture for a living and wanted a home that felt like the inside of one of her pieces: honest, crafted, and built to be used hard.
/ Our approach
We kept the cast-iron frame and brick shell and inserted a single timber 'piece of furniture' that holds the stair, kitchen, library and sleeping platform.
Every joint was drawn at full size and made in her workshop alongside our team, so the house carries the marks of the hands that built it.
